Try sticking to art or pictures with a similar theme. Large to medium pieces are generally hung 6-7 centimetres apart while smaller pieces are spaced 4-5 centimetres apart. It’s always a good idea to mark out the area with masking tape to gauge how the end product is going to look like before making any permanent fixtures in a wall.

Not hanging artwork at eye level
It’s generally better to use larger art pieces, you should always consider the scale of your space and make sure it is proportionate to the other design elements. Hang art work at eye level. Approximately 1500mm from the centre of the art piece to the ground is a reliable method.

Hanging art pieces too far apart.
When hanging two or more art pieces it is best to only space them a few centimetres apart, so that they function as one piece rather than multiple disconnected pieces.
